As of today, my talk show Conversations with Coach Ian Scott made it into the iTunes Top Podcast charts in Belgium, reaching # 37!

This is great news! Especially taking into account, that the show is only in its second month of production! Research also shows, that the new show has gone New & Notable, as well as Featured in the same countries that the Coach Ian Scott podcast did.

I am very encouraged by the positive results of both of my shows. It demonstrates that the move into podcasting, was a wise move indeed. It has enabled me to create and reach a global audience, and make some new friends along the way.

It would be appropriate for me at this point, to express a heartfelt thank you to all those who listen, and subscribe to both shows. BREAKING NEWS: As of October 1st, 2008 the Coach Ian Scott Podcast received endorsement in the iTunes Store by being featured in their “New & Notable”. Not only that, but the podcast is also inserted in their “Featured” section. There are 1 of 5 pages in the featured section – Coach Ian Scott Podcast made page three!

What makes this even more of a noteworthy achievement, is the fact that the podcast was only inserted into the iTunes directory less than a month ago as of this writing.

I am obviously grateful to the iTunes team for deeming my podcast of worthy recognition, I am also just as grateful to all those who are current subscribers to the podcast – thank you.

I had never imagined that the podcast would become such a success – but a great success it is proving to be! And it’s also true to say, that when I originally submitted the podcast to iTunes, I never gave it a thought that it would ever be featured in the iTunes Store!
